Welcome Week is designed to provide our incoming students with opportunities to become familiar with campus resources, engage with the campus and Manhattan community, and kick-start their educational journey.

Monday, August 18 – "Get After It!"

Kick off your first day with energy and support. Stop by a Welcome Station starting at 7:30 AM for free coffee, your class schedule, campus map, and ��è�����ƽ�� swag. Have questions? Just ask — we’re here to help!

Strike a pose at the First-Day Photo Booth (9 AM–1 PM) and snap a pic with our ��è�����ƽ��-themed backdrop. Share your shot with #��è�����ƽ��WelcomeWeek!

Feeling stuck with tech? Drop by our Tech Check Station (2–4 PM) for hands-on help with email, Wi-Fi, Canvas, and more.

Tuesday, August 19 – "Snacks + Support"

Start your day right with a quick stop at a Welcome Station (7:30 AM) for coffee and conversation.

Then grab a slice and some skills at our Quick-Stop Workshops + Pizza (11:30 AM–12:30 PM in Rooms 401 & 402). Each mini session is packed with tips to help you thrive:

• How to Talk to Instructors (and Why You Should) – Encouragement to use office hours, sample scripts for asking questions or clarification.
• Budgeting for Broke Students – Save money smartly
• Time Management + Study Skills – Hacks for balancing your life

Wednesday, August 20 – BBQ Bash + ��è�����ƽ�� Pride

Join us for a free Welcome BBQ (11 AM–1 PM)! Hang out with friends and employees over music, cornhole, giant Jenga, ladder toss, and lunch on us. Tables will be set up to explore campus and local resources.

Visit the “Why I Chose ��è�����ƽ��” Wall and leave your mark — share why you’re here and what inspires you.

Need your Student ID or Parking Pass? Swing by the Welcome Desk from 3–4 PM to get it taken care of.

Thursday, August 21 – Chill + Recharge

Fuel up with free coffee and snacks (8:30–10 AM) in the Commons — breakfast bars, coffee mix-ins, and printed success tips to-go.

Need a breather? Our all-day Chill Zone in the Teaching & Learning Center is your go-to space to relax with board games, coloring, a movie, and popcorn. No pressure, just peace.

All Week Long – Get Connected

• Where Are You From? Wall – Pin your home state and see where your classmates are from!
• Question of the Day Board – Stop by and add your thoughts to fun daily prompts.
• Student Success Slides – Keep an eye on campus screens for helpful info all week.
• “Who’s Who” Signage – Get to know the staff and how they can support you this semester.
